Fleix, also known as Poble d’Enmig, is one of three towns that makes up the Vall de Laguart municipality along with Benimaurell and Campell. Discover a charming town nestled in a beautiful valley of the Marina Alta.

Bars & Restaurants

Currently Bar El Barranc is the only local bar in the heart of the town open serving local dishes and drinks.

Following the CV-721, between Fleix and Campell is Xiringuito de Laguar, which not only has beautiful views of the Marina Alta and Montgo, but also hosts live concerts.

Fiestas

Patronal festivities in Fleix occur on the first weekend of September honouring Virgen de los Dolores, San Pascual, their patron saint, and Santa Teresa. They celebrate with a procession and street party in the evening.

Hiking

Two hiking routes can be walked from Fleix. PR-CV 43, Les Valls, has been removed from the public registry and likely has no signage and should not be walked.

PR-CV 147 is well known as the Cathedral of Hiking for having more than 6,800 steps dug into slopes, however currently lacks quality control. Despite the impressive views of the Barranc d’Infern it is possible that it lacks the necessary signage and, as with any hiking trail, caution is advised.

Orba

Orba has a museum dedicated to its cultural heritage of pottery production and is also where you will find the Castellet, the remains of a castle from the twelfth century.

Benigembla

Benigembla is known for its Urban Art Festival that occurs in July where the village buildings become the canvas for the exhibition. There is also one of the few peaks of the Marina Alta that is greater than 1000 metres high.
