Hiking
Camí Tárbena
The Camí Tárbena (SL-CV 119) is an ancient trail that connects Xaló with the town of Tárbena in the Marina Baixa. The 5km hike offers stunning views of the Vall de Pop and showcases the region's agriculutral heritage.
The trail features an altitude change of 400 metres, making it a moderately challenging hike. According to FEMECV, some sections have deficient signage, so hikers are advised to take precautions.
Before setting out, it is recommended to consult local hiking groups and follow all necessary safety guidelines.
La Cova de Mançano
The Cave of Mançano, located approximately 8.5km from Xaló, is one of many sites in the region where you can find cave paintings in the Levantine and Schematic styles.
Fiestas
Xaló celebrates several traditional festivals throughout the year, honouring its patron saints and local customs.- Les Festes del Romer is celebrated on the last Saturday of April.
- The festival celebrating Saint Domènec de Guzman takes place in early August.
- Patronal Festivities, honouring La Mare de Déu Pobra, are celebrated on the third Sunday of October.
