From the 13th to the 22nd of August are the patron saint celebrations in honour of La Mare de Déu, Sant Roque, Sant Cosme and Sant Damía.

Hiking

The Camí del Riu Gorgos, PR-CV 466, will take you on a stunning journey showing off the natural beauty of the Marina Alta taking you from Llíber to Gata de Gorgos, another town worth visiting. This was the route that originally connected the Vall de Pop to Jávea and Dénia.

Another path is the Cami del Castell d’Aixa, PR-CV 53.5 is a variant of another hiking route that will take you to Jalón on an equally beautiful and winding route passing the ancient ruins of the arabic fort that used to protect the area.

Leisure

For fans of enotourism and ecotourism might like to consider a wine tasting at the Casa Agrícola, which was awarded the prize for the most sustainable bodega in Spain in 2024.

The Surrounding Area

Alcalalí is another charming little town in the area, each year in February they hold a photography marathon as a part of the festival of Feslalí when the almond trees bloom.

Benissa is home to various museums and galleries, hosts a yearly art competition and each month there is a market selling locally grown, seasonal produce.
