Fiestas

Patronal Festivities

During the first and second weeks of August, they honour their patrons Saint Antoni and Saint Roc.

Llimafest

Llimafest is an annual music festival held in August, featuring live performances, a communal dinner with traditional Valencian coques, and a variety of activities.

Hiking

Sender de Pedreguer - PR-CV 53

This 19km circular route will take you around the Sierra del Castell d'Aixa, allowing you to visit the castle that gives the mountain range its name. While the hike offers spectacular views, FEMECV advises caution due to a lack of signage in some places.

Sender de Pedreguer Variant - PR-CV 53.4

This route between Pedreguer and La Llosa de Camatxo offers spectacular views of the Marina Alta from where you can see the Mediterranean sea. This shorter variant is approximately 2.25km and begins at the Font de l'Ombrereta near Pedreguer. FEMECV confirms that it currently meets quality control standards, but hikers should still follow recommended safety guidelines.

Castell d'Aixa

South of the village, you will find the remains of one of the many fortifications that form part of Marina Alta's rich history. Built by the Moors in the 12th century at the highest point of Beniquesi, it offers spectacular views of the Vall de Pop.

Discoveries of ancient pottery suggest that Iberians previously settled the mountain.

Castellet de L'Ocaive

Between La Llosa de Camatxo and Pedreguer is the 12th century Castellet de L'Ocaive, a fortress from the Andalusian period that once guarded a route that passed through the area.

The remains of its tower sit atop a peak in the Muntanya de la Solana mountain range, offering stunning views of the Marina Alta, stretching from the valley to the Mediterranean Sea.
