This shorter variant is approximately 2.25km and begins at the Font de l'Ombrereta near Pedreguer. FEMECV confirms that it currently meets quality control standards, but hikers should still follow recommended safety guidelines.
Castell d'Aixa
South of the village, you will find the remains of one of the many fortifications that form part of Marina Alta's rich history. Built by the Moors in the 12th century at the highest point of Beniquesi, it offers spectacular views of the Vall de Pop.
