A Guide to Benimaurell
Benimaurell, also going by the name of Poble de Dalt is one of the four towns that form part of the municipality Val de Laguart. A beautiful valley brimming with nature and history.
Bars & Restaurants
In search for a good meal, you can try either of the two bars in the town itself, Bar Jalisco or L'Hedrera Ca' Sandra for a variety of dishes including traditional Valencian cuisine.
Alternatively a short stroll up to the Restaurante Alahuar provides a dining option with spectacular views of the valley.

Patron Festivities
Benimaurell celebrate their patron saints from the 22nd to the 24th of August in honour of San Roque, San Cosme, San Damián and San Miguel.
Hiking
Even though there exists plenty of information about the route of Les Valls, PR-CV 43 is currently no longer registered as an approved trail by the public registry and it is not recommended that you walk it.
Additionally the route of La Catedral del Senderismo, PR-CV 147, is logged as having no quality control and, as with any hiking route, caution is advised.
The Surrounding Area
Orba
Following the CV-721 east out of Benimaurell you will pass by other towns of Vall de Laguar, Fleix and Campell, shortly after which you can join CV-718, which will take you to Orba. Visit the museu del Fang or the Castellet to learn more about the history of the Marina Alta or enjoy the local fiestas.
