Located in the north-east corner of the sub-region, Vall d'Ebo is one of the several beautiful valleys in the Marina Alta, brimming with nature in one of the sunniest autonomous communities of Spain.

Bars & Restaurants

In la Vall d'Ebo you'll discover various restaurants offering delicious valencian dishes.

Restaurante Capri is spacious restaurant with a terrace and Foc I Brasa is located at the edge of town with a terrace that offers a glimpse of the natural beauty that surrounds the town.

Also, in the centre of town you will find La plaça and La Entra, two more bars popular with the locals serving food and drinks.

Fiestas

In the first week of August they celebrate honouring their patron saint.

In the last week of September is the festival of San Miguel Arcángel.

Hiking

La Vall d'Ebo forms a part of PR-CV 43, the route known as Les Valls, starting in Fleix, but has currently been removed from the public registry and is not recommended due to the removal of signage and lack of maintenance.

PR-CV 58 is a tough, 30km route that begins in Tormos that heads inland to the Vall D'Ebo before doubling back towards Pego, but it is currently under revision and it's possible it doesn't meet optimial conditions for signage and maintenance.

Leisure

The Vall d'Ebo is home to a museum of ethnology with a variety of curiosities such as tools from their agricultural past, showcasing the simple life style lived by the residents. All the pieces on display were donated by the town's residents and were actually in use at some point in the past.

The Surrounding Area

Pego

A great cultural centre of the Marina Alta, Pego is rich in history where you can discover two museums of art and ethnography and see the remains of the walls and sixteen towers that protected the town until the war of succession. Each year they also host a national painting contest, the Vila de Pego.

Sagra

Sagra is one of the five villages that makes up the Rectoria, a sub-region close to Vall d'Ebo and neighbour to Pego. Sagra has various festivals throughout the year and you can discover some of the finest food in the Marina Alta at the Cuiner a l'Escoleta, run by Julio Vargas who has a history of working in Michelin starred restaurants.
