A Guide to Jesús Pobre
Jesús Pobre is a peaceful village known for it's agricultural heritage, especially its Riuraus which they still use today for raisin production.
It is surrounded by orchards and Mediterranean woodland, yet also close to Jávea and Dénia giving you easy access to some of the Costa Blanca's best beaches.

Fiestas
Patronal Festivities
The patronal festivities occur 50 days after easter, celebrating with a variety of events and religious traditions, including a procession, street parties and fireworks.
Cabrerot
Cabrerot is held in October, celebrating the end of the harvest season with traditional food, games, folk music.
cabrerock
The week following Cabrerot, Jesús Pobre hosts Cabrerock, a music festival dedicated to Valencian Rock, attracting visitors from all over the Marina Alta for over 20 years.
Hiking
Route of the Three Mills
The Route of the Three Mills is a circular route that will take you through the orchards and countryside and up to the village's old windmills, which sit atop a hill overlooking the Marina Alta.
Camino de Alba
Jesùs Pobre is where the second stage of the Camino del Alba begins, a 12 stage section of the Camino de Santiago, which connects with the Camino de la Lana.
You can use the route to walk to El Vergers or Jávea, both offering opportunities to explore the beautiful, natural landscape of the region.

Rastro
On the first Sunday of each month is the second-hand market where you can browse antiques, vintage items, furniture, ceramics and collectibles such as coins and artwork.
Riurau
The Riurau market occurs every Sunday, offering locally grown, seasonal produce as well as homemade goods such as jams, oils and wines.
During the winter, this market doesn’t open on the first sunday of each month.
